FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What makes ACT boots different from other skates?
ACT boots feature innovative technology including the Interlink and Revolve systems, providing unparalleled customization in height adjustment, canting, and forward flex control. Our universal fit system ensures maximum comfort and performance.
Are the mounting adapters included with all skates?
No. Only the Interlink Boot package ships with both adapters. You can also buy adapters and hardware as spares: Interlink→165 adapter, Interlink→Trinity adapter, and the ACT Mounting Set Shell.
Does using the 165 and Trinity adapter affect the height?
Long story short: no. The ACT boot with over-injected mounting plates is the lowest possible. The Trinity and 165 adapters only align the corresponding frames parallel to the boot, as there are no mounting blocks like on other boots. Please see the cross-section.
What is interlink mounting?
They call us UFS 2.0 but we are Interlink.
The most advanced mounting system in the industry. Interlink not only is compatible with the major mounting system of the market but it gives space to innovate and open new horizons to the industry as the 167mm distance is not longer a limit.
What’s the price?
Boot only starting at 179.99 €. Team packages: AG 299.99 €, CL 359.99 €, WZ 399.99 €. Prices may vary by region. See: Interlink Boot, AG Team, CL Team, WZ Team, ACT Tri Skate boot.
What sizes are available? What are the shell sizes?
Sizes are displayed in mondo points (mm) and international standards on the size chart. Boot sizes correspond to MyFit liner sizing.

|---|---|---|---|
| 245-251 | 38-39 | 5-6 | 6-7 |
| 258-264 | 40-41 | 6.5-7 | 7.5-8 |
| 271-278 | 42-43 | 8-9 | 9.5-10 |

| 298-306 | 46-47 | 11-12 | 12-13 |
Are ACT boots compatible with other cuffs?
Yes, thanks to our Revolve System, ACT boots are compatible with other cuffs available in the market, offering greater flexibility and customization options.
Is the soul plate compatible with other skates?
Yes, with a small modification around the backside grooves, the corresponding sizes will fit the AG models.
Is the liner heat-moldable?
Yes, it features MyFit technology and is fully heat-moldable at 90°C. Watch how to heat mold it
What frame standards can I run on ACT boots?
Interlink supports 165, Trinity and UFS style frames through dedicated adapters. Pick the adapter for your frame and torque the hardware to spec. Adapters and hardware: Interlink→165, Interlink→Trinity, ACT Mounting Set Shell.
What canting options do I get?
Revolve and cuff spacers allow subtle inside or outside lean to fine tune knee tracking. Start neutral, then add a half step at a time until pressure feels even on both edges.
How do I tune forward flex on ACT?
Choose the cuff height and insert stiffness you prefer. Loosen the top strap for more forward motion or tighten for more rebound. Start with the stock setting and adjust after a short skate.
Which parts and spares are available?
Kizer Supreme Buckle Set Black L/R
Cuff Parts Set ACT Black (more cuff colors coming soon)
ACT AG Soulplate (more soulplate colors coming soon)
What is the weight of the boot?
Final weights vary by size and setup. A boot-only sample is about 915 g including soulplate and shock absorber, or 640 g without the soulplate. Exact numbers per size will be added once production data is confirmed.
What liners fit best in ACT shells?
Any MyFit liner in the matching mondo works. Team models include liners similar to the Prime Eco Liner. For a tighter performance fit consider Second Skin. For more cushioning consider Crown or Recall from the liners, laces and insoles collection.
Size selection tips
Measure both feet in mm and use the larger value. If you are between sizes and prefer a performance fit, go smaller and heat mold. For comfort and thicker socks, go up. You can always ask our Urban or AG Team for a more personal recommendation. Fit guide PDF: How to find your correct skate size.

How do I customize flex on ACT boots?

|---|---|---|
| 1 | Low / 06:00 | Supportive low cuff. Default position. |
| 2 | Back-Low / 08:00 | Mid-supportive low cuff. |

Plasticization (hot-water softening)
- Remove cuff and loose parts.
- Place shell in a tray with pre-boiled water covering the wings about 5 cm.
- Let soak until water cools down about 20 minutes.
- Dry gently with a soft towel.
Do not heat on a stove. Pour hot water into a separate container first.
Flex trimming (cutting the wings)
- Skate and test after each cut.
- Step 1: cut the bridge between back wings and the eyelet area.
- Step 2: shorten the wings in stages from the highest guideline.
Warning: full trim gives unrestricted cuff movement so modify carefully.
Policy note: flex trimming voids the return policy but does not affect the manufacturing warranty. Revolve adjustments and hot‑water molding are fine. Diagrams and full post: Instagram post.
